Message: Dear baby Roman, Auntie Lindsey needs to get up in the morning and do her hair before your anticipated arrival:) I am so ecstatic for your already descending (meaning in a downward motion, not in an insulting manner) Just allow me to look decent for our first picture together!!! I love recipes and I’m constantly searching for new ones, specifically appetizers, finger foods, etc. for get-togethers. I’m sure we all have that one recipe (or knows of someone who does) that when its made, EVERYONE at the party is asking “Who made this?” or “Can you give me this recipe?“

Twenty-Twelve Resolutions

I’m seeing lots of great resolutions on Facebook from family and friends. I suppose I better make mine public as well. I think it holds me a bit more accountable if I allow others in on my resolution rather than keeping it tucked away in my mind:)

1. First and foremost: Lose my extra baby weight!! (Second time around just hasn’t come off as easy as the first)

2. Return calls. I DESPISE talking on the phone. I’m determined to be better at returning calls.

3. Write/Send more personal notes through mail. I love receiving unexpected notes. Makes a person feel special. I want to make more people feel special this year.

4. Final resolution: Follow through with my resolutions!

When Roman was born, everyone agreed that he looked quite a bit like Cash as a newborn. I just didn’t realize HOW much they resembled each other until my mother-in-law emailed us photos comparing Cash and Roman… unbelievable!
