Every single day, she is agonizing pain, something she tries hard to mask and hide from others. This past year has been especially rough and her back issues have progressively worsened day by day. It’s to the point now, that she has trouble getting out of bed. She literally gets “stuck” in bed at times. To see my Mom in such pain is heart breaking.
With that said, you should know Mom, that I am so proud of you for finally going through with this surgery Mom. You do not deserve to suffer like you have. I woman with a heart of gold, a sincere soul, and beauty radiating from your skin and whole being, you deserve so much more than this awful pain.
Surgery isn’t always something people tend to be ‘excited’ about. But I must say, there is a build up of excitement in me over this. It’s heart-warming to know that you will no longer be in pain, day in and day out. There’s hope for you. With God, all things ARE possible.
The next few weeks, I know, will be tough. But you’re a strong individual with so much determination. Know that you are so loved and you have tons of support from family and friends. We all love you so much.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
